A complete strategy to protect your home and the people in it.

Articles & Guides
A home defense plan is more than owning a firearm. It is a coordinated strategy that every household member understands. Assessment: Walk through your home and identify entry points, blind spots, and lines of sight. Consider how an intruder might move through the space. Communication: Establish a family code word that signals an emergency. Define roles — who calls 911, who secures children, who moves to the safe room. Layers of defense: Your plan should include deterrents (lighting, signage), barriers (locked doors, reinforced entry points), and response (safe room, firearm if trained). Rehearsal: A plan that has never been practiced is only a theory. Schedule quarterly drills that simulate realistic scenarios. Post-incident: Have a plan for what happens after a defensive event. Who do you call? Where do family members go? What do you say to law enforcement? Prepare now, not during the aftermath.
